Kodec Intelligence (“we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Our services are designed to work primarily with public web data, and we avoid collecting personally identifiable information (PII) unless you choose to provide it (for example, when you submit a form).

Information we collect

• Form data you submit, such as name, email, phone number, and domain/URL.
• Review-page visit data: when you open a review page, we record an aggregate view count and the time of your visit to measure engagement. We do not link page views to your identity unless you submit the claim form.
• Staff cookie: a first-party cookie (kodec_staff) lets us recognize our own staff visits so they aren't counted in engagement metrics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Operational metadata (timestamps, basic request logs) for security and support.
• Public web facts used to generate briefings and graphs (no credentialed access).

How we use information

• To deliver the review page, lead-capture, and related services you request.
• To operate, secure, and improve our services.
• To communicate with you about deliverables or service updates.

What we don't do

• No resale of your data.
• No embedding of ad tracking pixels in deliverables.
• No collection of credentials or private databases.
• We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain minimal operational records for as long as necessary to provide services and meet legal or security requirements. You may request deletion of your form submissions by contacting support@joinkodec.net.

Security

We use industry-standard controls, including encryption at rest and in transit, restricted access, and auditing. We regularly review internal permissions and follow least-privilege principles.

Third-party services

We use Resend for email delivery, Neon (PostgreSQL) for data storage, Vercel for hosting, and Twilio for SMS where you have opted in. We share only the minimum data each needs to perform its function, under appropriate agreements. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object or restrict certain processing. Contact us at privacy@joinkodec.net to make a request.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated date at the top of this page and, if changes are material, provide additional notice.
